Handcrafted in small batches, Our 7 oz. Signature Bee candles are made by blending 100% Maine sourced beeswax with premium fragrance oils. The rim of each concrete vessel is handpainted to mimic the look of a dripping pot of honey.
 
Beeswax alone is extremely dense with a very high melting point. It burns much hotter than other candle wax, putting the candle vessel at risk of overheating. Therefore, we blend the beeswax with a small amount of organic coconut oil. By adding the coconut oil it softens the beeswax lowering the melting point to a safe temperature to use in our handmade concrete vessels.
 
Scent
Signature Bee - The natural smell of beeswax: slightly honeyed and herbaceous with added scent notes of Bergamot, Honey and Tonka Bean.

Beeswax burns cleaner and longer than petroleum-based waxes. Beeswax also emits negative ions helping to improve the air you breathe. Dust, Dander and microscopic pollutants floating in the air carry a positive charge while beeswax carries a negative charge thus neutralizing your breathing air. Perhaps this is why people with asthma, allergies and respiratory issues prefer beeswax over any other wax choice.
 
Because individual pieces are made by human hands, you can expect color and paint results to vary. Sanded and sealed with a non toxic, eco friendly concrete sealer capable of withstanding indoor or outdoor use. Cork feet on the base to ensure a scratch free surface.
